A Hundred Miles

A Hundred Miles is one of many songs on a cycling theme I gathered during more than fifty years of folk singing. I recorded twenty for the album An Old-Fashioned Bicycle (see Menu 4 and scroll down for the titles and links). I must say I don’t ride for the miles but for the pleasure of being out enjoying the countryside and the people I meet.

I posted the photo of the dad riding with his children in Amsterdam not because they’re long distance cyclists (well, not in one go anyway) but because they look so charming!
